Getting started

Do I need to pay to try it?

No. The Free plan gives you the full knowledge base and the macro calculator, with no card required and no time limit. Upgrade only when you want the tracking and training tools.

Do I need a gym membership?

It helps for the strength programmes, but it is not essential. Workouts list the exercise, sets and reps along with coaching notes, and most movements have a home-friendly substitute. If you are training at home, tell your coach and they will adapt the plan.

I am completely new to this. Is it going to be too advanced?

No. Cycles are written to start where you are and build gradually, and the knowledge base explains the fundamentals in plain English. The hardest part of week one is showing up, not the training itself.

Is there an iPhone or Android app?

FitLifeWithMe runs in your browser on any device, and you can add it to your home screen so it behaves like an app. Native App Store and Google Play releases are on the way — the store buttons will take you to your dashboard in the meantime.

Training and tracking

What is a workout cycle?

A twelve-week programme running either two or three days a week. Every session in the cycle is written out in advance — exercises, sets, reps, weights and notes — so you never have to plan a workout yourself.

What happens if I miss a week?

Nothing bad. Your cycle progresses when you do, not on a calendar, so the next session is simply waiting for you whenever you come back. You can also mark a session as skipped and move on without it hanging over you.

Can I go back and look at a session I already finished?

Yes. Every workout in your current cycle stays open to you, and you can clear a completed or skipped mark if you logged it by accident.

Can I switch to a different cycle partway through?

Yes. Leaving a cycle keeps all of your progress, so you can pick it back up later exactly where you left it. Cancelling instead resets your progress on that cycle, so starting it again begins at workout one.

Does it remember what weight I lifted?

Yes. Every exercise has your own working weight against it, and your sessions show it automatically. Change it during a workout and that becomes the weight you see next time, with the change recorded so you can chart how each lift has moved.

Groups and challenges

What is a group?

A group is a cohort of members training together. Your group determines which workout programmes are available to you and which challenges appear on your dashboard. Being in a group unlocks its programmes regardless of which plan you are on.

How do challenges work?

A challenge runs over a set date range and comes in four shapes. A daily task challenge asks you to tick off each day you did the thing. A number challenge asks you to enter a value each day. The other two — cardio minutes and steps — need nothing from you at all: they read your tracker and count whatever you logged inside the challenge dates.

Can I log a day I forgot?

Yes, you can fill in any past day inside the challenge window. You cannot log a day that has not happened yet.

Can my group run more than one challenge at a time?

Yes. Every challenge currently running for your group appears on your dashboard with its own leaderboard.

Levels and achievements

How do levels work?

Everything you log earns XP — completing a workout, hitting your daily step or cardio goal, keeping a streak alive, finishing a cycle. XP carries you through fifty levels and ten ranks, from Initiate up to Immortal. Your level and progress bar sit on your dashboard and in the top bar.

What counts as my daily goal?

Thirty cardio minutes or ten thousand steps. Hitting either one earns the bonus for that day, and hitting both still pays once.

What are achievements?

Thirty one-off milestones across workouts, consistency, steps and cardio, and completed programs. Each pays bonus XP on top of everything else and is yours permanently. You can see how close you are to every one of them, with a progress bar for each.

Can I see where my XP came from?

Yes. Your XP history lists every point you have earned, itemised and dated.

Plans and billing

What is the difference between Solo and Coached?

Solo gives you the full toolkit to run your own programme — weight and cardio tracking, workout cycles and group challenges. Coached adds body measurements, structured assessments and a direct chat with a real coach who reviews your progress and adjusts your plan.

Can I cancel any time?

Yes. There is no contract and no cancellation fee. Your data stays with you if you drop back to the Free plan.

Can I change plans later?

Any time, in both directions. Nothing you have logged is lost when you move between plans.
